Company Structure

The Bahamas Development Bank has three levels of management:  The Board of Directors, Executive Management and Departmental Management. 

The Board of Directors appoints and oversees the Bank's Executive Team and decides on the organizations strategy and oprational procedures.  BDB’s current Board is comprised of nine members.  Mr. Darron Cash is the incumbent Chairman (chairman’s message).

Executive Management sees to the day-to-day operation of the Bank and is primarily responsible for executing the Bank’s approved operational strategy. Mr. Anthony Woodside, Managing Director presently heads the executive team. 

The Bank is divided into two major sections:  Finance & Support Services and Bank Operations.  Our Finance and Support Services Division; which consists of our Accounts, Human Resources, Compliance and Internal Audit Departments, is headed by our Managing Director.  Mr. Justin Sturrup, Deputy Managing Director, heads the Bank Operations Division. This divison consists of our Credit, Loan Administration, Delinquency Control & Collections, Information Technology Departments and our Freeport Branch office.
